Self-paced programs - start straight away!
Writer's Reset - First Draft Focus Designed to reset, energise and focus writers' first draft process, this self study program guides you to clarify your first draft purpose, identify exactly where to put your writing energy, work out what's working and what's not, identify and address psychological and emotional barriers to you making the progress you want, and create a writing state that facilitates creativity and optimism for your writing project, moving you to develop a long-term, sustainable writing rhythm. You will learn exactly the same techniques and processes available to A Mind of One's Own individual clients. All at your own pace, and all from the comfort of your own space. This is a super focused, super practical program, designed to bring measurable changes in progress towards your first draft goals. It contains a series of 10 short webinars introducing practical exercises that will be the focus of your actions and practices between sessions. Ideally, you'll do one module per week, integrating and consolidating what you learn and practising the activities repeatedly to build your sustainable writing rhythm.
Anxiety and the Writer's Mind This 10 week program provides exactly the same processes used in A Mind of One's Own Group programs - to help you address the anxiety and associated emotions and behaviours making it hard to enjoy your writing, or to write at all. Over 10 weeks, you'll learn evidence based for those whose experience of anxiety gets in the way of writing enjoyment and productivity. As this is a therapy program participants who have a current GP referral will be eligible to a rebate for each session. That said, writers without a referral are equally welcome to join the Group Therapy. The 1 x hour group sessions will run on Friday mornings at 11.30am starting
