Alison Manning Psychology is committed to keeping you and all other clients safe. All clients are required to check in using a QR code, and to wear a mask during face to face consultations.
Please note: During periods of lockdown, or if the client or psychologist has tested positive to COVID services may be provided via video or telephone only.
During non-lockdown periods you are welcome to attend your appointment in person as long as you are not currently isolating due to a positive COVID test result, have no cold or flu symptoms, and have not been in contact with a person with Covid-19 (or Covid symptoms) in the past 14 days.
If you do have symptoms such as a sniffle, sore throat, cough, fever, please let me know in advance so that we can arrange to meet via phone or video conference, or to reschedule. Please do check with me, even if you have mild symptoms and are unsure.
Alison Manning Psychology has a COVID Safety plan in place, and is registered with the NSW government as a COVID-safe business.
For all in-person appointments, social distancing is practised. The chairs are kept more than 1.5m apart, and we maintain distance throughout the appointment.
Between each client's appointment, all surfaces such as chair arms, door handles and the EFTPOS machine are cleaned thoroughly to HealthNSW standards. Requirements of clients Before each appointment please monitor your health symptoms. If you have anycold or flu symptoms whatsoever (sniffle, sore throat, cough, fever), please do not attend your session in person. We can arrange to have a telehealth session via phone or video, or, if you are too unwell, we can reschedule. Please take this seriously, even if your strong preference is to keep a session and to meet in person. It is vital to be up front about even mild symptoms to avoid putting other clients at risk.
One other thing - please wash your hands thoroughly before your appointment!
